About the event
The meat industry is in need of a MAJOR revolution. Current practices of inhumane living conditions and feed chocked full of antibiotics and GMOs are not only unethical for the animals and humans that go on to consume those animals, but they are NOT sustainable and terrible for the environment. Supporting farms like Signature Springs Farm is part of starting that revolution! Farmer TJ uses regenerative practices to raise animals in a way that benefits the land. His family farm is located on the east side of San Antonio where the animals are raised ethically in the most natural environment possible. Come join us as we partner with Farmer TJ at Signature Springs Farm to learn about raising and processing chickens in a way that is not only better for your family, but better for the animal and the environment.

For an additional $80 take our class the following Friday to learn how to deconstruct a chicken and make the most of your meat. We will be preparing and enjoying a farm-to-table dinner in class and you will leave with an additional chicken that you deconstruct in class.
