Course Description:

This course is a delightful journey back to the basics, inviting young enthusiasts to dive into the world of sustainable living. Here, we emphasize the importance of connecting with nature and learning hands-on skills that will last a lifetime. Our adventure is designed to inspire and prepare our young learners for a healthy, self-sustaining future, where they can grow their own food and live in harmony with the environment. Let's embark on this exciting journey together, nurturing a deep appreciation for the earth and cultivating skills that pave the way for a greener tomorrow.

From sourdough to woodworking, this summer we have some amazing activities planned! Classes are 3 hours long and include the daily activity plus our “Farm-to-Table Lunch Bunch”. This includes a locally-sourced lunch cooked together daily. In addition to all activities listed below, we will be spending time working in the garden each class. We will use our produce in some of our classes and farm-to-table lunches so your Little Homesteader gets the full farm-to-table experience.

Our classes are designed by a certified and experienced Texas teacher and incorporate STEM and literature in hands-on, real-life applications. We intentionally keep our classes small to maximize learning and engagement, ensuring your child receives the best possible experience. Due to the small class design, classes fill up quickly so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible!. All classes include movement, story time, and class materials.

Please bring a reusable water bottle anddress your children in clothing so that they can get dirty and move around comfortably. This way they can participate in all motor and outdoor activities without worry.

** Parents ARE NOT required to stay, but are welcome to relax on our porch or picnic tables out front if you would like to stay on property.
