Green Valley Schoolhouse is a small, relationship-centered microschool developing in the Schertz-Cibolo area founded by Ms. Rachel, a certified Master Educator and founder of Green Valley Simple Living. We will be starting with a small cohort of students from grades 3-8 with the possibility of adding a K-2 educator depending on community demand.

The vision is for a deeply personalized learning environment built around strong academics, mastery, projects, nature and science, practical skills, creativity, and community involvement- with lots of room for children to learn differently. 

GVS will also be intentionally welcoming to neurodivergent learners and children who don't always fit neatly into traditional educational environments. From students with gifted learning profiles that need accelerated learning, to students with ADHD or ASD that need more movement than traditional schooling allows for, the goal is a small community where children are genuinely known, supported, challenged, and given opportunities to discover what they're capable of.
